Frequently asked questions.

What Is The Blueprint Room?

The Blueprint Room is a mid-century modern inspired creative studio located in Cincinnati. With multiple themed sets, movable furniture, and an apartment-like layout, it offers an adaptable space for photo, video, and content production.

How Do I Access The Space?

After booking your session, you’ll receive a confirmation email with the studio address and entry details. When you arrive, head to the north side of the building, where you’ll spot a food truck (which is delicious, by the way) and a large parking lot. Park there, then walk toward the loading ramp directly behind the food truck, where you’ll see a red door. One of our team members will meet you at the door, welcome you inside, and escort you up to The Blueprint Room on the 5th floor.

Is The Blueprint Room Soundproof?

The Blueprint Room is not fully soundproof. While we do our best to maintain a quiet environment, occasional noise from nearby units or passing trains can be heard. Local bands sometimes rehearse elsewhere in the building, which may also be audible. For that reason, we don’t recommend recording live audio unless you’re comfortable working in a space with some ambient noise.

Can I Get A Tour Before Renting?

Absolutely! Send us an email and we will respond as soon as possible.

What About Parking?

Parking is free and available in the large lot on the side of the building near the loading dock. Free street parking is also an option if needed, though there are usually plenty of open spots in the lot.

Is There a Person Limit?

Yes, we kindly ask that you have no more than 6 people per hour.

Some Basic Rules?

We’ve designed this space with creatives in mind, and as photographers ourselves, we know how easy it is for things to get messy. To make sure everyone enjoys a clean, functional studio, we ask that you follow a few simple guidelines.

Prep your clients. Let them know what’s expected! Shoes should be clean before entering, and if it’s wet or snowy outside, please have a spare pair to change into at the door. This helps protect the floors and keeps the space ready for your session and the next one.

Supervise children. Parents should keep a close eye on little ones to avoid accidental spills or damage.

Do not:

  • Eat or drink on beds or furniture

  • Use glitter or anything similar, including decorative materials

Leave it ready for the next person. Take a few minutes at the end of your session to tidy up: sweep floors, wipe any marks, and return furniture to its place. A little effort goes a long way in keeping The Blueprint Room clean, comfortable, and welcoming for everyone.

Are Pets Allowed?

Yes, pets are allowed, but please make sure to clean up after them.

Do You Offer a Seamless Backdrop?

Yes, we offer 4 backdrop rolls and change out the colors periodically. There is no guarantee for specific colors, but feel free to reach out and ask which colors we have available!

Set-Up and Cleaning Time?

When booking, please make sure to include time for both set-up and clean-up. This includes arranging backdrops, coordinating with artists or stylists, and tidying the space afterward.

We ask that you treat The Blueprint Room with care and respect, leaving it as you found it for the next creative. There may be another photographer or client scheduled after you, so it’s important to stay on time.

If your session runs over and overlaps with the next booking, additional charges may apply to cover the extra time and any inconvenience caused. Planning ahead helps everyone have a smooth, stress-free experience!
